Although I never take the time to post reviews on services I certainly review them. Due to the exceptional service we received from Don’s heating and cooling I needed to take a couple minutes to share our satisfaction. We recently decided to remove our electric wood combination furnace and install a propane furnace. After getting 3 quotes and doing much research we picked Don’s to do the job. I have worked in the construction business all my life and to have a team of employees , from Terry , sales , to Brandon and his helper , who did the installation , be so professional is a rare occurrence these days. Thank you for a job well done and if your maintenance program is anything like your install we are in good hands for years to come. I highly recommend your company to anyone.

They’ve had an office in Orangeville (519-942-1568) for 20+ years, and opened in Alliston a year or two ago, but I think that’s just a sales office… service is handled out of Orangeville.

We called in with a non-operating AC unit in terrible heat. The Young Lady on the phone was very pleasant and helpful to get us booked in. You had a service tech ( Chris  I believe the fellows’ name is ) come out that same night who was also very polite. It was fixed with a full explanation as to what was done and what had happened. It is now much cooler in the house.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to your staff members who were involved in our recent furnace and water heater install.

Your Sales Consultant, Paul, was extremely patient while responding to our many questions. His sound product knowledge base was reassuring to us. He was professional, honest and straight forward. We did not hesitate to commit to purchasing our new furnace from your company after the consultation with Paul.

Our contact with Lori was minimal (voicemail/phone calls), but she was extremely pleasant and accommodating in terms of scheduling the duct cleaning and install.

Jonathan was awesome. Our eldest daughter was at home during the time of the duct cleaning – and her comment to us later in the day was that “the world needs more people like him.” He was both courteous and conscientious while carrying out his job.

The furnace installation guys (and we hope we have their names correct) – Tyler, Sean and Chris were just great. We were overwhelmed at how smooth and seamless everything went. The furnace being replaced was over 40 years old – so there were some “extras” that had to be completed in terms of vents and pipes, and switches, but these guys certainly knew what they are doing and there was never any cause for concern. The job kept them a couple hours past quitting time on Friday evening (which we felt a bit guilty about), but they didn’t rush and were quite concerned that everything was tidied up before they left.

We feel that each employee that we encountered during this install was top-notch. We will definitely recommend Don’s Heating and Cooling to our colleagues, friends and family. Many Thanks.

“A few months ago, my furnace gave up the ghost, I immediately started searching for a heating company. I had a few representatives come to my home and give me an explanation of the different models available and to quote me a price. However, when Don came himself I was impressed firstly to be made to feel important enough that the head honcho would take the time to come out. Secondly, that he would be informed and experienced enough to take the time to educate me on the different models and to show me the difference between the dinosaur that I had and what the new advances in the heating industry were.

We set up an appointment for the work to be done and I again was impressed on the high level of professionalism, arriving at the appointed time to start work, which hardly ever happens. We ran into a few obstacles along the way but instead of brushing them under the rug or doing what they felt was the action to take, the workers came to me and we discussed it and reached an agreement that would personally help me in the future. I needed drainage with the new furnace which I did not need with the old one and outside ventilation which I did not have previously.

Vibrations caused from making a hole for the ventilation system on the outside wall caused a picture frame of my family to fall and crack the glass, I was upset and the workers were extremely sorry for the loss, so much so that two days later a representative from Don’s Heating arrived at my door to present to me a new frame for my family picture. This touched me and even though completely unnecessary, I was grateful and again surprised at the level of kindness for doing an above and beyond job.

Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication, I love my new furnace and expect to enjoy it for many years to come but I am secure in the knowledge that Don’s Heating will be on hand should I have any problems. ”
